Odenville Public LibraryThe Odenville Public Library located on Alabama Street is conveniently located across from Odenville City Hall, the Senior Nutrition Center and close to Odenville Schools. Having moved into its new building in June 2003, Library Director Betty Corley is proud of the new building and all the continued community support.


The Odenville Public Library is open the following hours:

Tuesday - Friday --- 9:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.

Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 pm.

Closed on Sunday and Monday.

The library is closed on weekdays from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m..

The Odenville Public Library offers a Summer Reading Program; ten computers with Internet access for public use; an extensive collection of Alabama and regional books. The Library is also pleased to offer a wide selection of current fiction, older classics, large print books, audio books, videos, and magazines. The Library’s non-fiction section is continually growing and is a great source of information on various topics along with many reference books available for review. The Children’s Corner is packed with a wide range of educational and interesting readers for all ages, including several titles on the Accelerated Reader list.

The library also offers the following:

  • Chess every Tuesday from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
  • Preschool story time every Friday at 10:00 a.m.
  • A variety of other classes and clubs such as art, crafts, career counseling and literacy class.
