Argo, Alabama

With a population of over 1,100 citizens, the town of Argo is prospering and growing steadily. Argo is located 25 miles north of Birmingham just off of I-59.The area has a full time Police force which can be reached at 655-9395 and an excellent Volunteer Fire Department.

City Council meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall. Citizens are welcome to attend.

The heart of the business community is located in Argo Village and along U.S. Highway 11. There is a wide variety of businesses including a real estate office, sporting goods store, hardware, movie rental, cafe, pizza parlor, a popular orchard and nursery and more.
